Fifth Avenue Diamond Gallery Set to Open

RAPAPORT... Moshe Lax, president and CEO and of Dynamic Diamonds, is leaving the wholesale manufacturing business to launch the Facet of Love diamond gallery on New York’s Fifth Avenue.
Facet of Love, located on the ground floor of 800 Fifth Avenue, is a 10,000 square-foot, two-story, multidimensional gallery set to open on August 15.
Including an outdoor garden, Facet of Love has been designed to provide the visual advantages of brick-and-mortar stores for diamond lovers while offering the economic benefits of online sellers. The experience is based on the eight facets of love presented in Plato’s Symposium.
The goal is to provide a romantic environment in a state-of-the-art setting to guide the diamond consumer, Lax explained. “It's a modern solution that diamond lovers desperately want these days,” he said. “This is an exciting time to move on directly to consumers.”
Lax is leaving the wholesale business for this new venture because of his experience, knowledge and love for diamonds, the veteran manufacturer said.
Lax, 43, founded Dynamic Diamonds with his father Chaim over 22 years ago. |
