Van Cleef & Arpels reopened its boutique in the Dubai Mall, following an interior redesign for the brand's 10th anniversary in the Middle East. The boutique incorporated more dream-like décor to evoke an enchanted nature for shoppers using powdery hues, silk and velvet fabric and a light and airy space to highlight jewelry collections. The luxury jeweler also operates boutiques in Abu Dhabi, Riyadh, Jeddah, Doha, Manama, and Kuwait. In addition, a special limited-edition timepiece called the Lady Arpels Papillon Extraordinaire Malachite was created for the jeweler's Middle East locations. The jewel is design in yellow gold and is part of the Lady Arpels Extraordinary Dials collection of watches. "Paying homage to the dial-maker's savoir faire, the play of light brings the butterfly to life and its wings flutter warm colors in plique-à-jour enameling. The malachite marquetry and sculpture on gold motif contrasts with its shimmering diamond setting," said Alban Belloir, Van Cleef & Arpels managing director for the Middle East and India.
