Press Release: Rio Tinto’s flagship diamond jewelry initiative in India, Nazraana™ has celebrated the arrival of seven newly launched collections in a unique Indian wedding procession.

On the eve of the much-awaited India wedding season, a traditional wedding procession known as a “baraat” has delivered the diamond jewelry collections to the Reliance Jewels’ showroom in Lucknow, the capital of the Indian state of Uttar Pradesh.

The seven new collections – Love, Infinity, Heritage, Spirituality, Contemporary, Floral and Men’s Luxury -- were received by Yami Gautam, a Bollywood actress and brand ambassador for Nazraana.

The Rio Tinto Diamonds India representative office manager, Vikram Merchant, who is responsible for the Nazraana initiative, said, “Indian weddings are not just a union between the bride and groom but a coming together of two families from near and far. The beautiful new Nazraana jewelry collections will provide a lasting memento of gratitude and love for family and friends on these important occasions.”

Nazraana provides affordable gifts for the many Indian festive and celebratory events with the tagline "The heart that gifts a diamond shines like a diamond."
