RAPAPORT... Kay Jewelers launched its Miracle Links line ahead of Mother's Day. The collection, designed to celebrate the miracle of motherhood, includes pieces with interlinking circles meant to symbolize the bone between mother and child.
The line retails for between $230 and $1,150 and is available in white, yellow and rose gold, as well as silver, at select Kay Jewelers stores and online. The collection also includes select designs accented with diamonds.
The large circle in the collection represents the mother while the smaller circles attach to each other and symbolize every child. Additional circles can be added as the family grows. The circle is also intended to reflect harmony and the never-ending love associated with mothers.
"The jewelry category has always been where customers turn to commemorate important relationships and there is no bond more special than the one between a mother and child," said Ed Hrabak, the president of Kay Jewelers. "With the introduction of Miracle Links, there is now a signature gift to celebrate the birth of a child and growth of a family."
