Signet Promotes Sterling Jewelers Veterans to Top Positions

RAPAPORT... Signet Jewelers has named Ed Hrabak as chief operating officer and George Murray as chief marketing and merchandising officer, according to a company announcement.
Hrabak, 59, previously served as president of Signet's Sterling Jewelers division. He joined Sterling Jewelers in 1978 as a merchandise buyer.
Murray, 59, was president of Signet's Zale division following Signet's acquisition of Zale Corporation in May 2014. He has held a number of management positions at Sterling Jewelers since joining the company in 1992.
