Forevermark Chief to Get Top AGS Honor

RAPAPORT... The American Gem Society (AGS) will honor three industry
leaders at its Circle of Distinction dinner, it said last week.
Stephen Lussier (pictured), CEO of De Beers’ Forevermark brand, will receive
the Lifetime Achievement Award. Lussier has overall responsibility for De Beers
Diamond Jewellers, and is also chairman of the Diamond Producers Association.
The AGS will honor David Bouffard, vice president of
corporate affairs at Signet Jewelers, with a Triple Zero Award. Bouffard oversees
the company’s corporate social responsibility and sustainability initiatives.
Terry Chandler, CEO of the Diamond Council of America since
2001, will also receive a Triple Zero Award.
The dinner will take place on July 17 at the Plaza hotel in
New York.
