USPTO Approves 'A Diamond As Perfect As She Is,' 'Perfect Kiss' and More

RAPAPORT... The U.S. Patent & Trademark Office (USPTO) issued the trademark "A Diamond As Perfect As She Is" to Oz's Jewelers Corporation of North Carolina on May 6 with the registration number 4524141. The trademark, which refers to diamond jewelry, was originally filed on June 29, 2012 and first used in December 2011. 

The USPTO also issued the trademark "NEGU" on May 6 to Clyde Ward of New York with the registration number 4525641. "NEGU" applies to a number of product classes in jewelry and watches, including diamond jewelry and body jewelry, that feature electronic chips for attracting energy to the body for the purpose of re-balancing the human energy field. The trademark was filed on September 25, 2013 and had been used under this description in commerce since September 2011, but it was used in a different form as early as January 1991. 

On April 29, the USPTO issued the trademark "Perfect Kiss" to Kapil Shishir Nevatia of Mumbai with the registration number 4522461. The trademark was filed on February 16, 2012 and first used in commerce in September 2013. "Perfect Kiss" refers to jewelry, diamonds and gemstones, and jewelry boxes and cases. 

Ultimate Distribution Inc. of Lake Forest, California, received the trademark "Cali Gali" on April 29, with the registration number 4522876. "Cali Gali" was filed as a trademark on December 13, 2012 and first used in commerce in October 2013. The trademark references jewelry and watches that feature electronic chips for attracting energy to the body for the purpose of re-balancing the human energy field. 

In India, the Office of The Trade Marks Registry reapproved the trademark label "Jain Jewellers" for MGV Jain Jewellers Pvt. Ltd. on May 5 with the registration number 2376646. The trademark refers to advertising, administration and management activities for wholesale and retail outlets, including services related to trading and marketing of silver, gold and diamond jewelry in the city of Ludhiana only. The company has been using the term since January 1, 1965.
