Press Release: Christie’s announces the winter jewels online auction is open for bidding from November 18 through December 2, 2014. The sale features more than 100 pieces of contemporary jewels, ranging from a glittering array of over 40 multi-colored rings and earrings, to luxury watches and cufflinks, offering something for everyone ahead of the party season.
Renowned jewelry houses such as Cartier, Bulgari, Chanel, Pomellato, Tiffany & Co. and Dior feature in the sale, alongside beautiful pieces by newer names, including Sam Lehr, Pasquale Bruni and Artur Scholl. Starting bids range from just $470 (GBP 300) up to $9,400 (GBP 6,000). Highlights include an amethyst and enamel Leopard ring by Christian Dior (starting bid of $3,128 or GBP 2,000), a pair of diamond chandelier earrings (starting bid of $6,256 or GBP 4,000) and – for the men – an 18-karat pink gold automatic Jules Audemars wristwatch, by Audemars Piguet (starting bid of $4,692 or GPB 3,000).
