RAPAPORT...  Sarine Technologies Ltd.  collaborated with HRD Antwerp to facilitate interoperability between Sarine's Advisor 5.2 diamond planning software and HRD's  EOS Fancy bruting and girdling (shaping) systems.

Sarine's Advisor 5.2 software upgrade allows for the integration of planning output to be used by EOS  without manual intervention. Sarine stated that, to date, hundreds of stones have been processed utilizing the interlinked technologies.

"In addition to the industry-leading solutions Sarine offers all segments of diamond manufacturing and trade, we continually seek to integrate our technologies with other popular platforms and systems, in order to maximize the benefits afforded to our customers. Thus, we are pleased that Sarine and HRD Antwerp can now offer the Advisor – EOS Fancy integrative solution and are confident that our customers will enjoy the benefits of our joint endeavor,” said Uzi Levami, Sarine's CEO.

Marc Thomassen, the chief officer of equipment at HRD Antwerp, said, “A perfect girdle is the very foundation of a well-cut stone. In today's challenging market, the quality requirements for both round as well as fancy cuts are increasingly becoming more demanding. The EOS Fancy bruting machine has been developed by HRD Antwerp and WTOCD to deliver superb girdle quality, over and over again. The Advisor-EOS interoperability is a fantastic accomplishment that now enables our customers to gain competitive advantage by combining the power of state-of-the-art diamond planning software with the industry’s leading bruting system.”

WTOCD developed the EOS and EOS Fancy systems, which are automatic machines for the bruting and girdling diamonds of  round and fancy shapes.  EOS and EOS Fancy are offered exclusively by HRD Antwerp.
