RAPAPORT... Bulova Corporation appointed Mary Beth Trypus as its executive vice president, effective August 4, 2014. Trypus will be responsible for Bulova's sales and marketing initiatives, with a focus on long-term strategy and she will report directly to Gregory Thumm, the company's president.
Thumm said, "I am excited to have Mary Beth join our executive team. Her experience and track record of running a business with metrics, and marketing brand positioning across large organizations, will be invaluable to us across all U.S. classes of trade."
Prior to joining Bulova, Trypus served as senior vice president of sales and planning at the Jones Handbag Group, following an 11-year stint in various roles with Liz Claiborne Inc.
