RAPAPORT... JA New York will host its annual winter jewelry show from January 18 to 20, 2015, several weeks earlier than previous winter shows in an effort to meet  industry demands for a stand alone show that won’t overlap with any other trade event.  Show organizers also felt that the new date would benefit retailers following the Christmas season.

“As always, we remain committed to doing what’s best for the industry as a whole and, more specifically, for our customers,” said Drew Lawsky, the group show director for JA New York. “With other trade events competing with our original March dates, we adjusted our dates to accommodate our customers’ schedules and quell any concerns they may have about making a difficult decision regarding what show(s) to participate in or trying to be in two places at once.”

Additionally, by maintaining a three day show, the JA New York Winter Show will remain convenient for both exhibitors and retailers who are allowed limited time away from their stores and offices, organizers contended.
