RAPAPORT... Bonhams will auction the largest collection of jewelry designed by Marina B, the granddaughter of Sottiro Bulgari, founder of Bulgari, at its upcoming autumn sale in Hong Kong on November 26.

The "Marina B Legendary Luxury Jewelry Collection," is comprised of nine highly individual lots that reflect the Italian designer’s iconoclastic approach to jewelry. Her designs are known for a bold and elegant flavor and the use of diamonds and colored gemstones, the juxtaposition of geometric lines and subtle curves. Celebrity customers associated with her jewels include the late Elizabeth Taylor, Sophia Loren, Jennifer Lopez, Amy Adams and Mila Kunis and singers Alicia Keys, Taylor Swift and Faith Hill.

One of the top lots of the sale is a ruby and diamond Georgina ring, signed by Marina B. The ring is set with a 10.54-carat Burmese ruby in an abstract setting with a marquise and Asscher cut diamond surround and has a presale estimate of between $400,000 and $500,000.

Another top lot is a sapphire and diamond necklace (pictured) and earring Amelia suite. The piece features 12 cushion-shaped, natural Ceylon sapphires, totaling 104.81 carats, and is accentuated by diamonds in a classic setting. The suite is estimated to fetch up to $645,000.

A cultured pearl, sapphire, diamond, tourmaline and onyx Pauline torque necklace, is estimated to fetch up to $38,700, while a diamond Kar torque necklace, worn by  Keys when she performed at the 2013 Superbowl has a presale estimate of betwen $14,200 to $25,800.

An orange sapphire and diamond Fujiyama bangle, highlighted by brilliant-cut diamonds and accented with circular-cut orange sapphires as stylized cherry blossoms, is estimated to garner between $140,000 and $200,000, while a pair of orange sapphire and diamond Cuf earrings is estimated to fetch $10,300 to $15,500.

Other lots include a fine diamond and sapphire Claw dress ring, with a presale value of $71,000, an impressive tourmaline, diamond and onyx Cristina torque necklace, valued at up to $83,900 and a cultured pearl necklace, with a presale estimate of $19,350 to $25,800.

The Marina B Legendary Luxury Jewelry Collection previewed in Europe and the U.S.  in September and will go on tour in Asia during October and November.
