RAPAPORT...  Bulova relocated its headquarters to the Empire State Building in New York, where the watch company plans to mark its 140th anniversary with an opening event for the brand's friends and partners.

"The new space is a perfect home for our expanding portfolio of watch brands and signifies a new period of growth for the company," said Bulova's president, Gregory Thumm. "Moving back into the center of the fashion capital of the world provides us with a renewed energy and creative spirit while honoring our company's Manhattan origins."

Bulova's new space features a collaborative, open workspace design on the 29th floor, with ample natural light and 360-degree Midtown panoramas, a shop-in-shop environment and a reception area with displays set up as a rotating exhibit. Its hand-painted floor features the exposed-dial design of the original Bulova Accutron Spaceview.

Bulova has global offices in Canada, China, Germany, Hong Kong, Italy, Japan, Mexico, Switzerland and the U.K.
