IDE Officially Opens International Diamond Week

RAPAPORT... The Israel Diamond Exchange (IDE) officially opened its fifth International Diamond Week on Monday. The event features more than 300 Israeli exhibitors and hundreds of buyers and exhibitors from 20 countries, including Belgium, India, Turkey, China, the U.S., Russia and Switzerland, the IDE said. Attendees included participants from the Diamond Dealers Club of New York, the Antwerp Diamond Bourse, and Mumbai’s Bharat Diamond Bourse.

IDE president Shmuel Schnitzer told Rapaport News that the event exceeded his expectations, Also participating in the opening ceremony were: Israel Diamond Manufacturers Association president Kobi Korn; David Lasher, director of the Diamond Dealers Club of New York, and Marcel Pruwer from the Antwerp Diamond Bourse.
