Kingswood Company Sponsors Regional Women's Business Event

Press Release: The Ohio River Valley Women’s Business Enterprise Council held its annual conference from April 13 to 15 in Columbus, Ohio. The Kingswood Company, a certified Women Business Enterprise (WBE) by WBENC, was proud to serve as a diamond sponsor of the event along with Procter & Gamble, The Kroger Company, L Brands and Macy’s. The conference featured a keynote speech from Randi Zuckerberg, the founder and CEO of Zuckerberg Media, editor-in-chief of Dot Complicated and the former director of market development and spokeswoman for Facebook.

Awards were also presented at the event's Trailblazer Dinner to Lauren J. Richardson, the senior vice president of procurement and business services of L Brands  and Tara Abraham, the president of Accel Inc. The evening was emceed by TaKeysha Sheppard-Cheney, the CEO of the Women’s Book.

The Kingswood Company has been certified as a woman-owned business by WBENC for eight years. Kingswood’s president and CEO, Kristie Nicolosi, is appreciative of the support she has received in promoting her business.

“It was an honor to sponsor the Catch the Wave Conference in Columbus this year,” said Nicolosi. “We believe in the strength of woman-owned businesses and were pleased join our co-sponsor, Procter & Gamble, in supporting an organization that does so much for women entrepreneurs and business owners.”

The ORV-WBC is a regional partner of the Women’s National Business Enterprise Council. The organization certifies bona fide women-owned businesses and helps those businesses develop and expand through networking opportunities and by connecting certified businesses with private-sector and government agencies who are seeking supplier diversity.
