Press Release: The Ohio River Valley Women’s Business Enterprise Council held its annual conference from April 13 to 15 in Columbus, Ohio. The Kingswood Company, a certified Women Business Enterprise (WBE) by WBENC, was proud to serve as a diamond sponsor of the event along with Procter & Gamble, The Kroger Company, L Brands and Macy’s. The conference featured a keynote speech from Randi Zuckerberg, the founder and CEO of Zuckerberg Media, editor-in-chief of Dot Complicated and the former director of market development and spokeswoman for Facebook.
Awards were also presented at the event's Trailblazer Dinner to Lauren J. Richardson, the senior vice president of procurement and business services of L Brands and Tara Abraham, the president of Accel Inc. The evening was emceed by TaKeysha Sheppard-Cheney, the CEO of the Women’s Book. The Kingswood Company has been certified as a woman-owned business by WBENC for eight years.
