Rapaport to Host Viewing of Alrosa Dynasty Collection
The Rapaport Group is collaborating with Alrosa to host a viewing of the Dynasty Collection at its New York offices from November 8 to 17. The Alrosa auction will take place online on November 29. The collection includes five polished diamonds cut from the same 179-carat rough, all D-color and VVS1-quality, the centerpiece being the 51.38-carat Dynasty. J.C. Penney (-28%) headed the declines in US retail stocks this past week after issuing a downbeat performance warning. Macy’s (-10%) also slid after a Citi analyst downgraded the department store, citing weakness in its core retail business. Firestone Diamonds (+11%) led otherwise mixed mining stocks. In India, Vaibhav Global, a retailer of jewelry and other products, gained (+18%) after reporting a jump in profit.
