Press Release: Kay’s Fine Jewelry, a premier family-run jeweler with eight stores in the Caribbean Islands and South Carolina adopted ImaGem’s GL3200 Grader machine and VeriGem machine. The main objective behind incorporating ImaGem technology was to support business expansion and growth.

The GL3200 Grader machine is used for grading loose diamonds that fall in the D to Z categories, fancy color diamonds and diamonds with secondary hues. The machine grades color, fluorescence, light behavior, proportions, symmetry and alignment in under four minutes per stone. It can process about 120 diamonds in an eight-hour shift. With the GL3200 Grader, accurate grading results are available not in weeks or months, but in just minutes!
The VeriGem® machine is used for measuring light behavior in diamonds and digital fingerprinting and verification. For light behavior grading, the VeriGem measures brilliance, sparkle and intensity in under 40 seconds and then prints a certificate right on the spot. Once a diamond is fingerprinted by the machine, its identity can be verified to ensure that it has not been switched during a transaction. This function is very useful for inventory management, memo transactions, jewelry manufacturing and law enforcement programs.
