RAPAPORT... Online retailer Blue Nile added Sloane Street and Lisa Jenks to its designer collective initiative, which was launched in March to broaden offerings through partnerships with jewelry designers.  The collective already includes Monique Lhuillier Fine Jewelry, a curated collection of engagement rings, wedding bands, earrings, necklaces and pendants, and  Zac Posen, for an exclusive set of engagement rings and fine jewelry.

Sloane Street was founded by Frances Gadbois, a former designer and the co-founder of JudeFrances, and her daughter Charlotte. The mother-daughter team present the Sloane Collection, designed by Frances, featuring 18-karat gold jewelry with rubies, sapphires and other precious and semi-precious stones. The Sage by Sloane Street Collection, which was designed by Charlotte, includes diamonds, pearls and her signature "rough diamond" in every piece. Price points for the jewelry range from $225 to $2,095, according to Blue Nile.

Jenks' designs are inspired by the cultural landscape, referencing multicultural patterns and architectural details. She uses pearl and sterling silver to create necklaces, bracelets and earrings, all of which are handcrafted in  New York City and priced between $125 and $995.

"Sloane Street and Lisa Jenks are two of the most talented designers creating jewelry today, and both bring, fresh, artistic, and matchless style," said Blue Nile's chief merchandising officer, Julie Yoakum. "Our customers choose Blue Nile because of great style combined with superior quality and these designers are a perfect fit."
