RAPAPORT... Meghan Markle wore the Queen Mary Diamond Bandeau Tiara at her Saturday wedding to Prince Harry, Kensington Palace said.

The headpiece, which held the bride’s veil in place, was made in 1932, and is a flexible band of 11 sections. It is comprised of diamonds and platinum, and pavé-set with large and small brilliant diamonds. The County of Lincoln gave the centerpiece — a detachable brooch featuring 10 brilliant diamonds — to then-Princess Mary in 1893 on her marriage to Prince George, duke of York. Both pieces passed from Queen Mary to Queen Elizabeth when the royal died in 1953.

Cleave and Company created the couple’s wedding bands. Prince Harry’s band is made of platinum and has a textured finish, while Meghan’s ring is fashioned from a piece of rare Welsh gold — traditional for the royal family — which Queen Elizabeth gifted to her.

Markle also wore Galanterie de Cartier white gold and diamond earrings, and a Reflection de Cartier white gold diamond bracelet, according to Forbes.

For her evening reception, the former actress sported an aquamarine ring from Princess Diana’s personal collection, a Kensington Palace spokesperson told Vogue.
