RAPAPORT... Shirtal DiaCam Ltd. will introduce the DiaCam360  table top scanner, which produces high-quality, 360-degree photos and videos of diamonds, to attendees at the International Diamond Week in Ramat Gan. The device will  be unveiled at the event's DiamTech exhibit in the upper lobby of the Diamond Tower, adjacent to the entrance of the rough diamond trading hall, beginning   February 10 at noon.

DiaCam360 was developed by Shirtal Diamonds in response to client requests for high-quality images of diamonds that were being offered for sale. The firm described the device as a small, portable, effective and affordable scanner that offers comparable pictures to what are produced in a professional studio.

"In a business where most of one's clients are located in often remote foreign markets and countries, we needed a useful tool that would enable clients to view our diamonds from every angle, just as if they are holding the stone in their own hands. Of course, the device is easy to use and the user does not need any photographic skills to operate the DiaCam360 successfully," said Lior Hirsh, Shirtal's marketing manager.  "In addition, it is well known that customers prefer an interactive display of the product over a still photo or video. We offer both options with the Diacam360."
