Sotheby’s Sets October Hong Kong Sale of Magnificent Jewels and Watches

RAPAPORT... Sotheby’s will include a selection of top-quality diamonds, natural colored gemstones and watches at its Autumn sale in Hong Kong, according to a company announcement.
Among the items in the Magnificent Jewels and Jadeite sale on October 7 is a 41.65-carat internally flawless fancy vivid yellow diamond priced at $1.9 million. Also included is a 10.62-carat unheated Burmese ruby “Panther” ring by Cartier.
The company’s October 6 sale of important watches include a limited edition Harry Winston white gold wristwatch with retrograde five-minute, rotating double hand and power reserve indication, priced at $100,000.
