Press Release:  As we bid adieu to one of the coldest winters in history, Aaron Faber Gallery welcomes spring by honoring the season of love with “An Exploration of the Bridal Affair,” a series of events and month long exhibition of vintage, art deco and contemporary engagement and wedding rings designed to help guide true love along its natural progression.  The two day event brings together a curated selection of partners essential for the bridal process to Aaron Faber Gallery at 666 Fifth Avenue, New York City for a pair of decadent affairs to introduce prospective brides and grooms to the next steps in their journey.

On Thursday, April 24, 2014, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m., the Aaron Faber Gallery will host “Groom’s Night Out,” an evening of masculine pursuits for prospective grooms, their best man and friends.  The evening starts with a presentation by Glenfiddich® Scotch Whisky, as  master of ceremonies, to educate the best man on how to give a proper toast. Representatives from Trafalgar menswear will show the groom and his party how to dress impeccably for that special day. Alishan Halebian of jewelry house Alishan will present his latest collection of rough diamond bridal jewelry to help the man in love find the perfect expression of that love as Aaron Faber Gallery exhibits an intriguing collection of vintage and collectible Rolexes, Patek Philippes, and other contemporary watches for the man who wants a little something for himself.

Catering it all will be Aaron Faber’s new neighbors at 40 West 53rd Street, Brazilian steakhouse Fogo de Chão®, which will provide a selection of its Brazilian-inspired appetizers and reward all guests with gift certificates for a future restaurant visit, while Josh Wood, the operations manager for Fogo de Chão®, shares inside tips to giving a once-in-a-lifetime bachelor party.

Brides and bride maids get their turn at Aaron Faber Gallery from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday, April 26,  with “The Bride’s Day,” where Alishan, Fogo de Chão, Nevaeh Lingerie, Papyrus, Simon G, Sofitel New York and Trafalgar will assemble to help the bride cross a few “to finds” off her list.  Bridal jewelers Simon G and Alishan will showcase their most spectacular bridal jewelry, engagement and wedding rings. Papyrus will display the perfect stationery for making the most important announcement of one’s life.  As Trafalgar shows prospective brides how dashing their groom can be, Nevaeh Lingerie will do a presentation of what to wear on the honeymoon night.

Sofitel New York will share how to put it all together, while their executive chef, Sylvain Harribey, discusses culinary ideas for the wedding reception.  The Aaron Faber team will help prospective brides find a truly unique gift for her groom – a Rolex or other vintage watch made in the year of her groom’s birth.  Fogo de Chão® sweetens the day with an assortment of delectable desserts.

“With our carefully selected partners, we’re creating a space where prospective brides and grooms easily find the very best in the industry without being overwhelmed by too many options,” said Patricia Faber, the co-owner of Aaron Faber Gallery.  “We also wanted to make exploring the bridal affair fun for both bride and groom, as well as their friends. The two events allow each party to focus on what is essential to them.”

As part of the exploration of the bridal affair, Aaron Faber Gallery and partners are excited to offer special giveaways to three lucky couples.

One lucky couple will receive a bridal affair honeymoon package from Sofitel New York.  The package includes a three-night stay in a spacious luxury one bedroom suite, with designs reminiscent of Parisian Art Deco and 1940s Manhattan glamour, and a welcome amenity of champagne and chocolate-covered strawberries. The couple will enjoy dinner at Gaby Brasserie Française, the outstanding restaurant and bar that serves classic French cuisine by Harribey, whose culinary achievements include winning the Food Network hit show "Chopped" and breakfast in bed.

Another lucky couple will also receive a Nevaeh lingerie bridal affair set -- an elegant yet sultry embroidered tulle mask paired with a feathered pattern Raschel eyelash lace bridal bed jacket with complimenting silk charmeuse sash.

Trafalgar will present yet another lucky couple with the Trafalgar Lincoln Square Duffel, a handsome traveling companion in full-grain leather, soft-pebbled finish, fully-lined interior, wrapped-leather top handles and shoulder strap.

Stop by Aaron Faber Gallery for an entry form or visit www.aaronfaberpresents.com  to enter online.  The promotions run through May 31 and is open to all couples within the 50 United States and the District of Columbia.
