RAPAPORT... In this week's video broadcast the Diamond Empowerment Fund holds its Diamonds Give 2008 charity event at the Greenhouse in New York. Lita Asscher of Royal Asscher launches her Star of Africa project in Manhattan to benefit Sierra Leone.
We learned of the Mumbai terrorist attacks after we'd finished this broadcast, so to all our viewers in India please accept our written and sincerest condolences at this most tragic time.

I have seen some synopsis of the fund in the video, but do not fully understand the rationale for the fund. I am one of the few African diamond experts, currently running an accredired training school in South Africa. The vision is to penetrate the whole continent to help diggers and all the disadvantaged in Africa in this regard. Please let me know what I can do to participate in this humanitarian venture.
