RAPAPORT...  The Diamond Development Initiative (DDI) launched a newsletter called dDiscourse. DDI hopes to make dDiscourse a regular publication reflecting a range of perspectives from the diamond industry. dDiscourse will include coverage of artisanal miners and articles written by insiders, outsiders, DDI supporters and industry veterans.

The first issue included its first interview, which was conducted with Joaquim Chissano, the former President of Mozambique, the inaugural recipient of the $5 million Mo Ibrahim Prize for Achievement in African Leadership from the Mo Ibrahim Foundation.

dDiscourse is published as a PDF in English and French.
