Press Release, Worldwide Security Network: Worldwide Security Network will offer a free private security consultation to jewelers during the MJSA Show at Booth 327 at the New York Hilton Hotel on March 14 and 15, 2010.  Information on new security devices, procedures and valuable life-saving tips will be offered to jewelers that are at high risk for armed robbery, assault and homicide. Jewelers that travel on the road with diamonds and jewelry are especially vulnerable.

Worldwide Security Network is a New York-based security company that has developed patented technology to protect property and persons.
“No other company can provide the same level of safety and security, specifically for jewelers, that we can offer,” said Elie Ribacoff, the principal of Worldwide Security Network.

Ribacoff has been a diamond and precious stone dealer since graduating from the Gemological Institute of America (GIA) in 1977. He has traveled extensively and is fully aware of the risks that jewelers face. After an armed robbery of his family business, during which his father was stabbed and beaten and nearly died, Ribacoff became much more involved in the security of members of the jewelry industry. With prior experience in police work, as a member of New York City’s Police Department Auxiliary Special Task Force and electronics expertise, he started Worldwide Security Network to provide security systems and solutions to high-value businesses and individuals with high threat levels.

Ribacoff explains, “Cameras, alarms, access controls and weapons detectors are all layers of protection available to the retailer and manufacturer, but these are not effective unless there are policies and procedures in place, along with training, to handle routine and emergency situations. Traveling jewelers do not have these protections and must rely on secure cases, tracking systems, awareness training, event and route planning and, of course, common sense to avoid losses.”

Worldwide Security Network can identify and provide solutions to the threats that a business can face. A few minutes may save someone from catastrophic financial loses or severe injury or death. Since 1995, Worldwide Security Network has had an unblemished record in ensuring the safety and security of its clients. No successful crimes have occurred at any business that have a Worldwide Security Network system in place.
