The marriage proposal concept  ensures that everything is orchestrated to offer a romantic moment and includes an Amorique Diamond® engagement ring by Birks Canada. The Birks Amorique Diamond is hand-cut  cushion shape that offers a unique pavilion facet , which gives the diamond unusual inner fire and brilliance. The purchaser may arrange for the ring to be delivered to the suite, or opt for a private personalized shopping experience at the downtown Birks boutique in Montréal. The hotel concierge will also be available to help create the perfect setting for the proposal.

Dimitri Antonopoulos, vice president of marketing for the Antonopoulos Group, said, "Le Place d'Armes Hôtel & Suites is delighted to be associated with Birks, an institution that has been synonymous with confidence, and established the standards for quality diamonds throughout Canada for the past 130 years. Moreover, Old Montréal - the birthplace of the metropolis - is the utmost romantic setting. Characterized by cobblestoned streets and rich architectural heritage, lovers will simply surrender to its charm. Old Montréal is unquestionably the ideal place to pop the question."
