OGI Systems Assimilates New Symmetry Tech in Labs

Press Release: OGI Systems, the leading global company for technological solutions to the diamonds industry, recently began assimilation of a unique technological solution for automatic symmetry grading of Round Brilliant diamonds in several major labs around the world.

Up untill now, grading of symmetry in polished diamonds was done visually by a gemologist using a microscope, which required of the gemologist a great deal of mastery and time for grading the symmetry of a diamond. This is done so since existing optical instruments used for diamond grading by labs and worldwide do not enable absolute and precise results in repeated measurements.

Following extensive research and development, OGI Systems successfully developed a Scanox HD grading system that includes this unique symmetry software which precedes all competitors. This system has the ability to quantify and grade automatically the vast majority of parameters constituting the symmetry of a diamond.

This system is available for all labs, manufacturers and dealers of diamonds around the world. OGI customers can now upgrade their current systems to the advanced Scanox systems at a very attractive price.
