Scott Kay Inc. promoted two senior executives today. Mark Taylor is now company president and Jhone Pavlin is vice president. Taylor and Pavlin will also continue to serve on the company's board of directors. Taylor has been with Scott Kay for more than nine years and most recently served as executive vice president of sales for bridal accounts. In his new role as president, Taylor will oversee international growth while managing the existing and developing sales team. Pavlin’s tenure exceeds 13 years and she continues to work closely with designer, and company chief executive, Scott Kay on all forms of product development. Her past roles include, managing Scott Kay’s customer service team and vice president of merchandising. Kay said, ''I am extremely proud of the time-honored dedication and proven leadership of Mark and Jhone. Mark has successfully acquired and advanced our bridal national and international bridal brand forward. His leadership skills, product knowledge and brand acumen are consistently proven. We are honored to present Mark with the title of president. ''Jhone Pavlin overseas all aspects of client opportunities, customer service and sales and internal operations. Jhone also has a superior knowledge of precious and contemporary metals, diamonds and gemstones; she will be a stellar corporate vice president,'' he added.
