Actress and fashion marketer Tori Spelling launched a do-it-yourself (DIY) fashion-jewelry line with retailer Jo-Ann Fabric & Craft Stores. Spelling already has a fashion-jewelry line on HSN, ''The Tori Spelling Collection,'' but this new ''Styled by Tori Spelling'' series at Jo-Ann will allow shoppers to create their own jewelry using interchangeable components . ''I love designing jewelry, and I love crafting,'' said Spelling. ''With this line, I’ve combined both my passions. I give the styles and tools, and women can use their creativity to design their own jewelry.'' Styled by Tori Spelling is the first licensed jewelry line ever carried by Jo-Ann. Megan Cross, the jewelry and textile buyer for Jo-Ann, said, ''We are very excited to be able to bring the Styled by Tori Spelling DIY fashion jewelry line to Jo-Ann customers. Tori has developed a line which makes it simple for anyone to make their jewelry collection totally one-of-a-kind, and she’s done that with really elegant components.'' Spelling said this new concept was inspired by Hollywood glamor and boho-chic coupled with a strong consumer demand for affordable jewelry components that are easy to assemble, allowing customers to create their own unique styles.
