Luxeford Holds Successful Silent Auction

RAPAPORT... Luxeford auction house sold $180,445 (HKD 1.4 million) worth of jewels at its silent sale held in ‎Hong Kong. The company sold 66 percent of the 32 lots on offer.

The sale saw interest across the board but especially for quality diamond items, Luxeford said. ‎Top lots included a pair of 2.10 and 2.20 carat diamond ear studs, which sold for $43,306 (HKD ‎‎336,000), and a Harry Winston “Premier Biretrograde” lady’s diamond wristwatch, which sold ‎for $18,560 (HKD144,000).  

Located in central Hong Kong, Luxeford specializes in high-end jewelry and offers appraisals ‎and auctions to collectors, families, estate executors, and charities across the world. The ‎auction house conducts two major auctions per year and offers a wide variety of items from ‎collectibles for private sales. Luxeford will hold its next sale in November 2012.‎
