RAPAPORT... De Beers reported that a fatality occurred at Debswana’s Jwaneng mine on June 29. ‎

Motshwari Raseiteo, 34, died when the Jwaneng pit experienced a slope failure, or a sudden rock or wall collapse,  at ‎the Cut 6 side of the mine at around 4 a.m. that day.  The ‎rescue team reached the victim, who had been trapped inside his vehicle, on Saturday evening, De ‎Beers stated. ‎

Raseiteo had been employed as a general shift foreman at Jwaneng’s mining department ‎since March 2012. He is survived by his wife and three children.‎
