RAPAPORT... Press Release: AOJ Media launched the Hindi edition of its flagship magazine, ''The Art of Jewellery'' on August 21. Bangalore-based AOJ Media Pvt Ltd, which is the publisher of ''The Art of Jewellery,'' India’s No. 1 jewelry magazine for the past 11 years launched this version in effort to reach a wider audience, especially in the tier II and tier III cities of India, particularly north and central India. The Honorable Governor of Maharashtra – His Excellency Shri K. Sankaranarayanan launched the AOJ Hindi magazine at a glittering ceremony at the Raj Bhavan in Mumbai.
Also, present during the launch were Sumesh Wadhera, the managing director of AOJ Media, PV Jose, the director of AOJ Media, Martin Rapaport, the chairman of the Rapaport Group, Mordy Rapaport, the director of the Rapaport Group and Vasanth Mehta, the vice president of the International Diamond Manufacturers Association (IDMA).
Sankaranarayanan said, “This is indeed a very smart move made by AOJ Media in starting the Hindi edition to cater to the Hindi speaking masses in the gem and jewelry industry. The jewelry industry consists predominantly of Hindi-speaking people and this gesture by AOJ Media would help provide up-to-date information to the jewellery sector in the National language.’’
Speaking at the launch, Wadhera said, “Our magazine is respected for its focused content and with this Hindi version, we will be able to reach out to many more jewelers in tier II and tier III cities by connecting with them in their own familiar language and nuances.’’
The Art of Jewellery (English) magazine is now in its eleventh year of publishing and is India's No. 1 business magazine in the nation's jewelry industry. The magazine is a one-stop source of cutting-edge information for the gems and jewelry sector and it is widely recognized by readers, advertisers, and the jewelry community as a premier media vehicle.
This inaugural issue of the Hindi edition would be available at the India International Jewellery Show (IIJS 2012), AOJ stall numbers AL5EX012 and 14. There will also be many exciting offers on subscription of the magazine.
