Press Release: With the 35th World Diamond Congress less than a week away, the International Diamond Manufacturers Association (IDMA) has launched its new Facebook page. During the congress, the IDMA communications team will post  updates, both on the IDMA Facebook page as well as on the IDMA website, i.e. discussions, presentations and visuals. The IDMA Facebook page can be found here:

IDMA's communications director, Ya'akov Almor, noted that the Facebook page would be used to update the global diamond business community and trade media, as much as possible in real time.

"In this digital era, we felt that a Facebook page would be an apt tool to broadcast the events of the 35th World Diamond Congress. We invite the members of the international trade press and the diamond business community to keep an eye on the IDMA Facebook page, as well as on the IDMA website. Of course, we need your 'likes,' comments and 'shares' to make the IDMA FB page widely known," Almor said.

At the same time, the dedicated congress website built by the congress organizers can be accessed at www.diamondcongress2012.com. It provides detailed information on the event's schedule and program, participating organizations, the hosts, the sponsors, information about registration, the venue hotel and room booking, social tours and post-congress optional programs.
