Leibish & Co. scored numerous stones from Rio Tinto's Argyle tender. This year’s auction consisted of 56 Argyle pink diamond lots and 19 Argyle blue lots and Leibish's buyer acquired almost 25 percent of the tendered stones on offer.

“I am proud and honored to have won such a large number of the tender stones offered, including lot 57, the extremely rare colored Argyle Allure. From the results, I clearly saw the prices paid were quite high, meaning there still remains a very high market demand. Furthermore, the stones have not even arrived from the Argyle mine to our offices and already many of the stones won are already busy with clients,” said Shmulik Polnauer, the chief diamond buyer for Leibish & Co. in Ramat Gan.ladies pink

The most famous stone Leibish & Co. won in the tender was the Argyle Allure, a rare, 0.33-carat, fancy gray-violet, heart-shaped diamond.
