RAPAPORT... MID House of Diamonds will receive an outstanding exporter award for 2011, Israel's Ministry of Industry, Trade and Labor reported. The award will be presented by Israeli president Shimon Peres and minster of industry, trade and labor Shimon Simhon at a ceremony held at the president's residence on January 7, 2013.
Diamond exports from the company rose 49 percent to $239 million in 2011, ranking the company as Israel's second largest polished diamond exporter in 2011, according to the list of Israel's top exporters published by the ministry in January.
MID House of Diamonds, owned by brothers Benny and Yossi Meirov, was established in 1994 and has locations in Ramat Gan, Los Angeles, Belgium, New York and Shanghai.
