This follows being honored as a finalist in the JNA Awards 2012. The JNA Awards is organized by Jewellery News Asia, together with Rio Tinto Diamonds and Chow Tai Fook, the headline partners, and Gubelin, Israel Diamond Institute, KARP Group, Robert Wan Tahiti and the Shanghai Diamond Exchange as honored partners. The ceremony was put together in order to publicly acknowledge the contribution some companies have made towards growing the industry. The companies selected are recognized for their innovative leading technologies, their branding efforts, their retailing/etailing success, the best business practices and outstanding contribution as a whole. Among the 13 categories, Leibish & Co. was selected as one of the three finalists for the E-Tailer of the Year, together with Chow Tai Fook Jewellery Co. He continued, “The accomplishment of being recognized as a successful etailer by such a prestigious organization means that we are moving in the right direction towards increasing the exposure online to the world of natural fancy colored diamonds.” The panel of judges to determine who the fairest and most deserving companies were is comprised of five industry experts, namely Albert Cheng, the managing director of the World Gold Council – Far East; James Courage, the CEO of Platinum Guild International; Lin Qiang, the president and managing director of the Shanghai Diamond Exchange; Nirupa Bhatt, the managing director of the Gemological Institute of America (GIA) in India and the Middle East and Vichian Veerasaksri, director of the World Jewelry Confederation (CIBJO) and advisor to the Thai Gem and Jewelry Traders Association (TGJTA). Leibish & Co. is currently presenting their alluring collection of both natural fancy colored diamonds and colored diamond jewelry at the June Hong Kong Jewellery & Gem Fair 2013 in booth 3G503-505. The fair will continue through until June 23.
