De Beers Debuts 'For You, Forever' Service

RAPAPORT... De Beers debuted "For You, Forever," a new in-store diamond engagement ring service to help clients have an individual diamond engagement ring crafted.
 The in-store service was designed to guide consumers in choosing their desired ring setting and the diamond, based upon their individual preferences.
De Beers also developed an iPad in-store tool together with mobile solutions specialist Somo. The For You, Forever in-store tool allows customers to compare different styles of rings and diamonds. Clients can view each diamond individually through the eyes of an expert using the De Beers Iris, which expands the view to great detail and replicates differing light conditions so clients can see how the diamond sparkles, even in low light conditions.
Using the iPad service, customers can also view a shortlist of their favorite styles, share designs with others and select a final product to be made.
