Matt Marcus Joins Gemvara to Head Marketing

RAPAPORT... Gemvara hired Matt Marcus as its new chief marketing officer. Marcus has more than 15 years of experience in global marketing, design strategy and business operations, and he joined Gemvara from R/GA in Chicago where he was the agency's vice president and executive creative director.gemvara   

Prior to joining R/GA, Marcus  designed and established Gucci's global ebusiness presence and was  responsible for building teams and digital capabilities across operations in the U.S., Europe and that AsiaPacific. Marcus has also worked as a global digital systems consultant for companies such as National Geographic, MasterCard International, Lego, Staples and Brooks Brothers.

Gemvara's CEO, Janet Holian, said, "Matt is a highly skilled and creative marketer and I am thrilled to add him to our executive team. His experience leading major consumer brand campaigns combined with his digital capabilities is extremely unique and very relevant to Gemvara.
