Forevermark Sponsors Keynote Address at AGS Conclave

Press Release: Forevermark, the diamond brand inscribed with a promise of beauty, rarity and responsible sourcing, was a lead sponsor at the American Gem Society’s (AGS) 2014 Conclave. The opening luncheon keynote address given by Earwin “Magic” Johnson and the “Undisclosed Synthetics: What You Need to Know” seminar were both presented by Forevermark.

On Wednesday afternoon, Forevermark's U.S. president, Charles Stanley, introduced keynote speaker Magic Johnson during the opening luncheon. Johnson shared his expertise on business, philanthropy and leadership during his speech, “The Magic of Winning.”

In the seminar “Undisclosed Synthetics: What You Need to Know,” Dr. Philip Martineau, the senior manager of physics at De Beers Technologies U.K., discussed the growing concern in the industry about synthetic diamond detection.

“Forevermark builds value by inspiring consumers with diamonds they can be proud to own and I am pleased that this has partly been achieved by harnessing the curiosity and imagination of our scientists and engineers,” said Martineau. “The inscription on every Forevermark diamond is created using a bespoke process developed by De Beers Technologies U.K. From a foundation of detailed research, we have also produced the equipment used to ensure that every Forevermark diamond is untreated, natural and consistently graded.”

Forevermark was also seen at AGS during the Jewelers of America's fashion show on Wednesday night.
