Press Release: The 2014 JA New York Summer Show, to be held at the Jacob K. Javits Center from July 27 to July 29, is experiencing a renaissance in energy and the overall aesthetics of the show floor. With an improved show layout boasting a relaxed, boutique-like environment that caters to a buyer’s needs, long-time exhibitors will be joined by notable returning designers and designers who will be exhibiting at the show for the first time.

To enhance this renewed energy, in recent weeks, the JA New York team has taken a grassroots approach to strengthening relationships between retailers and show management by making in-person visits to retailers throughout the tri-state area, which has resulted in an increase in pre-show registration.

“As a group, we recognize the importance of having face-to-face contact with our retailers,” noted Drew Lawsky, the show director for JA New York. “Visiting stores in person, touting the ‘new and improved’ show layout that has been reconfigured with buyers’ needs in mind and talking about all of the exceptional exhibitors at our show, has been very rewarding. We’re thrilled to make these connections and we look forward to nurturing these relationships moving forward.”

Some of the notable additions and returning brands to the 2014 Summer Show are Adel Chefridi, A. Jaffe, Boxco, De Hago, Gregg Ruth, Syna, Tanya Farah and Yoko by EuroPearls. Also returning to the show is one of the world’s most recognizable and well-respected jewelry supply companies, Kassoy.

“We are a born and bred New York City company,” said Joanne Slawitsky, the president of Kassoy. “We have so many new product offerings that we’re debuting and we felt that it was high time we return to the JA New York Show, the New York show for jewelry, to offer a hands-on showcase of our products.”

Kassoy has long been a go-to resource for the fine jewelry industry, featuring a broad range of products, from bench tools to inventory management systems to testing and measuring equipment to 3D printing technology. The return of this prestigious company will help to make JA New York a one-stop shop for all categories in the industry.
