RAPAPORT... Online marketplace Worthy.com named Ezzie Schaffran as its first vice president of operations to oversee the company's infrastructure and auction process from the New York office. Previously, Schaffran was the chief operating officer for Ice.com, where his career spanned 13 years beginning with an entry-level position and eventually working up into senior level roles.

Schaffran earned his bachelor of arts degree in Judaic Law from the Rabbinical College of America. Worthy.com is an online platform that enables consumers to sell luxury goods, including diamonds, brand-named watches, jewelry, gemstones and precious metals by connecting them with pre-qualified buyers.
