IGI Launches Mobile App, Announces Jaipur Lab Opening

RAPAPORT... The International Gemological Institute (IGI) launched its new consumer mobile application for Android/iOS titled  “my Diamond, my Jewelry” at the India International Jewellery Show (IIJS) in addition to offering a live grading lab.

During the show, IGI also detailed the opening of its next grading laboratory and education institute in Jaipur that will cater to the Rajasthan and North India clients, which are currently served by its New Delhi laboratory.

“Awareness of the need for quality and certification is rising among consumers. A worldwide platform like IIJS helps further provide assurance and builds confidence among both trade members and consumers alike,” said IGI's India managing director, Tehmasp Printer. “Moreover, IGI’s new mobile application combines the Institute’s international grading expertise with accessible technology – marking a major milestone in the evolution of certification in India.”
