RAPAPORT... Shrenuj & Company Ltd. reported that group revenue jumped 34.9 percent year on year to $220 million (INR 13.443 billion) for the first quarter that ended on June 30. Expenses increased 36.4 percent to $209 million (INR 12.799 billion). The company's profit rose 20.9 percent to $3.3 million (INR 204.7 million). Diamond revenue during the quarter surged 44.7 percent to $193 million (INR 11.787 billion), while studded jewelry sales slid 17.4 percent to nearly $31 million (INR 1.891 billion). Intersegment sales, however, plummeted 50.2 percent to $3.9 million (INR 235.6 million).
