Kiran Gems Expands Girls' Education Through the Smile Foundation

Press Release: Kiran Gems Pvt Ltd., the world’s largest manufacturers of diamonds, joined  with Smile Foundation -- an endeavor to provide quality education to underprivileged children -- through the Mission Education program. The partnership began with educational support for 100 girls across India. Kiran will take care of educational requirements and the nutrition of these girls for the coming academic session.
 
The company keeps education and healthcare as top priorities among its  social initiatives, which run on a regular basis. With this Smile initiative, Kiran has stepped forward to expand its girls'  education program countrywide.  The company lends its support for female education because they are the first ones to be affected in the challenging social set up. Also, if a female is educated in a family, then it affects the family in the most positive light.

In addition to this, Kiran Gems runs multiple other programs directed at the same cause. The director of the company, Dinesh Lakhani, said, “It is our small start toward addressing the ‘Female Education program’ at a pan-India level with Smile Foundation. We look forward to support more candidates under the ambit of this program in the future.”
