RAPAPORT... New York police are searching for at least two suspects in an armed robbery in the Diamond District that occurred on the eighth floor of 23 West 47th Street at around 2:30 p.m. Police said the business owner was pistol-whipped, but not seriously injured, and that the suspects made off with an undisclosed amount of goods.
The suspects were described as black men, some witnesses stated the men wore masks, one may have worn either a trench coat or a black jumpsuit and another was wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt and had gold teeth. Police were reviewing surveillance videos from the scene and were unsure if the suspects had fled the area or were hiding out.
