Press Release: Centurion Celebrates Vendor’s Choice, Design Award Winners

Press Release: Three retail jewelers were honored as winners at the 2015 Vendors’ Choice Retailer Awards during a gala dinner held at the end of last week at the Centurion Scottsdale show. Centurion vendors selected the winners by voting for the retailers they deem most outstanding in several business areas.

The retail winners were Cornell's Jewelers of Rochester, New York for Best Merchandise Presentation, Bailey's of Raleigh, North Carolina for Most Community-Engaged Retailer and Bremer Jewelry of Peoria and Bloomington, Illinois for Savviest Buyer.

The Centurion Design Awards were also presented during the gala dinner, which was sponsored by Veranda magazine. The awards, now in their fifth year and sponsored by Chippenhook, Exhibit Management Corp. and Jewelers Mutual, are open to all show exhibitors and feature 12 categories voted on by retailers who attended the show.

The 2015 Centurion Design Awards winners in each category were Beverley K for Bridal, JB Star for Colored Stone Classic, Spark Creations for Colored Stone Fashion, Rebecca/Testi for Contemporary Metals, William Levine for Diamond Classic, Pleve for Diamond Fashion, I. Reis for Gold, Armenta for Mixed Precious Metails, Mikimoto for Pear, Michael Bondanza for Platinum, Charles Garnier for Sterling Silver and Michele for Watches.
