Press Release: With a vision to set new standards for online diamond marketing, SRK Exports launched the “SRK-eTouch” on March 31. This new website was inaugurated by Philippe Mellier, the CEO of De Beers.
The launching ceremony took place at SRK’s manufacturing hub in Surat, where Mellier logged into SRK-eTouch and became the first user. The new website SRK–eTouch is unique in that it’s a one-page game, where clients can conduct multiple functions on a single page, which will guide them to make rational decisions while purchasing.
Some of the key elements of SRK-eTouch, such as SRK Inbox, SRK Updates, Multiple Stone Details and Easy Comparison, along with SRK’s guiding panel on screen, will provide clients material facts about their purchase.
SRK-eTouch went live for all existing customers on April 2 -- a day that marked 51 years of business for SRK.
Mellier, who was also in Surat for the inauguration of the IIDGR Lab, said, "We see targeted investment and the improved use of technology as vital to the industry’s future success and it is wonderful to see such innovation in the marketing of diamonds here in Surat alongside state-of-the-art manufacturing."
