RAPAPORT... Levinson Jewelers sponsored the Young At Art Museum’s fourth annual gala “ROCK the House with YAA!” and donated a 2.18-carat diamond bow necklace set in white gold, which retails for $12,000, and seven jewelry pieces for the gala’s raffle and silent auction. The event attracted more than 350 people and raised $231,000 for the Museum’s hands-on educational activities, which provide critical support for at-risk youth and families.
“Levinson Jewelers was proud to sponsor the event and to continue our support of the Museum and its outreach programs for kids,” said John D’Amico, the vice president of Levinson Jewelers.
The guest list also included Robin Levinson of Levinson Jewelers, Mindy Shrago, the founder and CEO of Young At Art Museum, and event co-chairs David and Jodi Epstein and Ken and Eris Sandler. Headliners for a special hour-long music set included Richie Supa (Grammy-winning songwriter and formerly with Aerosmith) and his special guests, Hall of Famer Ricky Byrd (guitarist for Joan Jett and the Blackhearts), Muddy Shews (bass for Southside Johnny & the Asbury Dukes) and Randi Fishenfeld (violinist of Blue Fire Band).
