RAPAPORT... Sisters Nicol and Melanie have joined their parents, Amir and Tamara Goldfiner, at Rahaminov Diamonds, elevating the diamond brand to a third-generation company in Los Angeles.
Nicol was a psychology major at the University of California at Davis and then relocated to Israel after graduating to train on all aspects of the diamond industry. She also began designing small jewelry pieces on her own. Now back in the U.S., Nicol recently married and said that she "loves her new life in downtown Los Angeles," where she enjoys yoga, family time, painting and traveling. Her favorite quote is, "Love like no one is watching.”
Melanie expects to graduate this month from UCLA with a degree in economics and then continue her education at the Gemological Institute of America (GIA) in Carlsbad, California. She has also studied in Italy, gaining cultural insight as well as a connection to her Italian heritage, according to the family. Melanie enjoys cooking, yoga and spending time with her family. Her favorite quote is, “You only live once, but if you do it right, once is enough.”
