RAPAPORT... The Antwerp bourse -- Beurs voor Diamanthandel CVBA -- has issued a letter seeking to clarify the name of the Belgian firm sanctioned last month by the U.S. Department of the Treasury’s Office of Foreign Assets Control. Rapaport News reported the action on August 24.

The sanctioned firm, Kardiam BVBA, should not be confused with Kordiam BVBA, the bourse wrote in a letter dated September 4. The two firms are not linked either legally or financial. It also noted that Kordiam is operated by Serge Korn.
